We have reached the end of the first month of schooling, and it is a good time to review and reflect on the experience.
The experience in the first month could be a prelude to the experience of their school life for the rest of the year.
Here are some questions that you can use to engage your child:
(1) Do you have friends in class? What are their names?
(2) Who are your teachers? Would you want to talk to them when you have difficulties with learning in school?
(3) What has been interesting about your class this year?
(4) What is the food like in school? Do you have time to rest and eat during recess?
(5) How’s homework so far? Are you able to manage? Do you need help?
